Massage Therapy

In today’s busy lifestyle massage is very important in maintaining both good health..

Massage Therapy is the soft tissue manipulation technique used to achieve or increase health and well-being. Touch is essential, human touch is required to grow, feel better and sustain health and Massage Therapy provides this nurturing and healing touch.

There are more than 80 different types of massage therapies and all of them offer almost similar benefits though they are some which are more appropriate to some conditions than the others. We all need to know that these therapies DO NOT CURE illnesses but only help alleviate/reduce symptoms of different conditions. If you are on medication or getting medical treatment it is ALWAYS better to inform the Health professional that you attend for Holistic treatments.. Also inform your Complementary therapist of your medication /treatment as certain techniques or oils should not be used.
Some conditions may prevent the therapist from giving treatments - one of the most Important ones is the first TRIMESTER of pregnancy. During that first three months of pregnancy NO treatments should be given, after that the client should go to a registered Baby massage specialist.
